{"id":368462,"date":"2024-06-13T14:35:48","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T17:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=368462"},"modified":"2024-06-13T14:35:50","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T17:35:50","slug":"new-flights-to-brazil-government-invites-tender","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/new-flights-to-brazil-government-invites-tender\/","title":{"rendered":"New flights to Brazil: Government invites tender"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The International Tourism Acceleration Program (PATI) is open until June 25 for submissions from Brazilian and foreign airlines interested in increasing their seat capacity or operating new international flights to Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second round of the program spearheaded by Brazil\u2019s Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Ports and Airports, and the Brazilian tourism board Embratur to attract more foreign visitors to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airlines and airports will be required to submit proposals for investments in promoting new flights and their respective tourist destinations, with actions such as advertising campaigns in the country of origin and promotional trips with journalists, digital influencers and foreign tour operators to the destination, among other options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A public investment of over BRL 1.6 million (USD 300,0000) from the National Civil Aviation Fund (FNAC) is forecast, with an initial focus on increasing the regular seats in international flights, but also aiming to improve the experience of foreign tourists at Brazilian airports<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New flights<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The program was launched in March this year and created over 70,000 new seats connecting Brazil to international destinations like Paraguay, Peru and Spain.
