The strong inflow of funds was influenced by the fund-raising operations carried out by the Brazilian oil company Petrobras. In September, the country recorded the highest inflow of dollars in a single month through the oil sector, at a total of US$ 16.716 billion. <\/p>\n<p> The trade sector (exports, imports and financing to foreign trade), in turn, recorded a net outflow of US$ 1.65 billion in 2010.<\/p>\n<p> Last month, the financial sector recorded a net outflow of US$ 2.418 billion, whereas trade saw a net inflow of US$ 509 million.
