Recently acquired by Brazilian education group Seb, Maple Bear plans to reach 39 countries next year, including locations in the Middle East, Central Europe, the United States, and Asia. Its headquarters is in Toronto, Canada, where it was first established. Before taking full ownership of Maple Bear, Seb already owned 70% of the company.

In an interview with ANBA, Maple Bear Global Schools CEO José Henrique Del Castillo Melo says the company widened its international network from 21 to 31 countries and will reach eight more foreign destinations by the next year.

Maple Bear in the Middle East

“Although we’ve been present in Middle East countries for quite some time, we’re excited about the opportunities, and we see a strong convergence between expectations from governments and families and the world-class educational model we provide,” he said.

The company is operational in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, among other countries.
