From Thursday (8) to Saturday (10), they\u2019ll be divided into groups to visit food and beverage companies in the states of Goi\u00e1s, Minas Gerais, and Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meetings between buyers and sellers are held in S\u00e3o Paulo in the headquarters of the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC), which spearheads the <a href=\"https:\/\/halaldobrasil.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">project<\/a>\u2019s activities alongside the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Malaysian firm buys poultry from Brazil<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bendiah is the only representative of firm that isn\u2019t Arab. The other guests of the <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/price-quality-take-brazil-to-islamic-markets\/\">Buyer Project<\/a> are firms from Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and Tunisia. The <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/price-quality-take-brazil-to-islamic-markets\/\">Halal do Brasil<\/a> project promotes halal goods overseas, halal meaning fit for Muslim consumption. The Buyer Project seeks to present Muslim-friendly food items to potential Islamic customers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen I first received emails from the ABCC [to join the project], I was amazed by the potential business with Brazil. I didn\u2019t know about the country\u2019s halal expertise. Halal isn\u2019t just about target audience but rather [food] safety,\u201d said Bendiah. He added that he was astonished with the quality of the products he found, including olive oil, cookies and biscuits, and others. The firm belongs to a holding company that has 94 stores across Malaysia and 2,6000 employees.
