Twenty-seven films by Arab filmmakers living in their birth countries or in diaspora will be available. The festival will also feature commented sessions, roundtables, and the foreign presence of director Nour Ouayda and curator Alia Ayman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One film in the program is <strong>The Feeling of Being Watched<\/strong>, where Algerian American director Assia Boundaoui reveals a major FBI operation against the Muslim population in the United States. In <strong>Vibrations from Gaza<\/strong>, Palestinian-born based in Canada Rehab Nazzal shows the reality in Gaza from the perspective of deaf children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other movies will be on view, too, so check the program. Curators are Alia Ayman \u2013 who resides between Cairo and New York \u2013 Carol Almeida \u2013 researcher, professor and Brazilian film curator \u2013 and Analu Bambirra \u2013 a Brazilian with a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Media, and the creator of the Arab Women\u2019s Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Screening venues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the city of Rio de Janeiro, the festival takes place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccbb.com.br\/rio-de-janeiro\/programacao\/4a-mostra-de-cinema-arabe-feminino\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Banco do Brasil Cultural Center<\/a>. In Niter\u00f3i at Cine Arte UFF. Duque de Caxias will have a screening day at the Baixada Fluminense Education School of the Rio de Janeiro State University (FEBF\/UERJ) and two days at the Gomeia Galp\u00e3o Criativo.
