From May 9th to 16th, exports reached US$ 5.766 billion and imports reached US$ 4.275 billion. The surplus reached US$ 2.46 billion in the first two weeks of the current month and US$ 7.489 billion year-to-date.<\/p>\n<p> In the average per working day, the trade surplus amounted to US$ 298.2 million in the second week and US$ 246 since the start of the month. Year-to-date, the average daily surplus is US$ 82.3 million as against US$ 39.9 million in the same period of 2010. Each period comprised 91 working days.
