Registrations opened last Monday (3). Participation is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will bring together researchers and professionals working on topics related to Arab studies, in areas such as Arabic Linguistic Studies, Studies of Classical Arabic Sources, Modern and Contemporary Arabic Literature, Translation Practice and its Critical Implications, and Past and Present Sciences, Religions, and Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other focus areas include Memory, History, and Historiography, African Connections, Dialogues and Interactions between the Arab World and Asia, Palestine, Women and Feminism, Contemporary Debates, and New Perspectives on the Diaspora. There will be thematic panels, lectures, and other forms of communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is organized by the Center for Arab Studies and the Department of Oriental Languages, both at USP. It continues the Arab Studies Research Meeting held in May 2023 within the FFLCH-USP and aims to foster greater integration among works on topics related to Arab studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1<sup>st<\/sup> Arab Studies in Dialogue Meeting will take place from May 5 to 8 in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online activities. Research papers from undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral students, faculty members, and professionals working on related topics will be accepted.
