S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) will host the launch event of the book Brasil e mundo \u00e1rabe: Neg\u00f3cios, marketing e diplomacia econ\u00f4mica aplicada<\/em> [Brazil and the Arab World: Business, Marketing, and Applied Economic Diplomacy], written by ABCC former president Rubens Hannun at the institution\u2019s auditorium in S\u00e3o Paulo on Tuesday (11). There will also be a discussion about Brazil\u2019s relations with the region. Registration is open and free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The debate will feature guest experts: Guilherme Quintal, Partner and Head of Global Market at eB Capital, who was VP and Operating Partner of the Saudi fund PIF; Grazielle Parenti, Head of Global Value Chain at Syngenta; Walker Lahmann, Executive Director at Eurofarma, also responsible for Institutional Relations and New Markets; and Virgilio Carvalho, representative of the S\u00e3o Paulo State Government\u2019s Department of Tourism and Travel. The discussion will be moderated by biographer Elias Awad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to them, the event will feature speeches from the preface contributors\u2014Brazil’s former President Michel Temer and Union of Arab Chambers Secretary-General Khaled Hanafy. Representatives from the ABCC, Fambras Halal, and H2R Insights & Trends will also speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Published by Grupo Novo S\u00e9culo, Hannun\u2019s book emphasizes the importance of Brazil\u2019s trade relationship with the Arab world, business opportunities in the region, real-life negotiation experiences, and successful company cases that avoided mistakes and adapted their products, services, marketing, and communication processes to the local culture. Hannun is a businessman, marketing strategist, market researcher, and currently serves on the Advisory and Deliberation Board of the ABCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
