It was the highest figure recorded in a month of May in the last five years, according to the organization.<\/p>\n<p> The volume shipped last month reached 2,622,471 60-kilogram bags, a 3.7% increase compared with May 2010, indicating that higher prices were paid for the product.<\/p>\n<p> Coffee of the Arabica variety accounted for 78% of the total shipped, followed by Robusta (13%) and soluble coffee (9%).
