Last month, the North African country sold USD 32,500 worth of footwear to Brazil, totaling 1,976 pairs. The sales volume grew by 3,300% compared to February of last year. In terms of value, the expansion was 1,049% in the same comparison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data from Abical\u00e7ados, there was a decrease in the average value of the pair exported by Morocco to Brazil in the year-over-year comparison\u2014in February last year, the average value was USD 48.78, while this year\u2019s, it was USD 16.45, a decline of 66.3%. Morocco was the 17<sup>th<\/sup> supplier to Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brazil\u2019s total footwear imports amounted to USD 49.4 million in February, showing a 7.5% decrease compared to the same month in 2024. The volume was 4.5 million pairs, an increase of 11.3% in the same comparison. In the first two months of the year, Brazil imported USD 97.43 million, with a 7.4% growth. In volume, 7.9 million pairs were imported, a 14.1% increase compared to the same period last year. China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Paraguay were Brazil\u2019s top suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Brazil\u2019s exports grow this year<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Brazil is a footwear exporter itself and saw growth in shipments at the beginning of this year. In February, USD 85.9 million worth of footwear was exported, an increase of 8.9% compared to the same month last year, with a total of 9.6 million pairs, a volume increase of 18.9%. In the first two months, exports totaled USD 174.2 million, a 2.7% increase compared to the first two months of 2024.
