The city\u2019s Secretary of Economic Development, Carlos Andrade Lima, met with leaders of the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) in S\u00e3o Paulo on Thursday (20) as part of his schedule in the city this week to discuss international investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnything an entrepreneur needs when arriving in Recife goes through the Secretariat of Economic Development. He notes that Brazil\u2019s international relations are largely limited to the United States and China and wants to diversify. At the ABCC, he discussed joint efforts to attract investments, exploring opportunities in missions, investment forums, and key sectors. Talks will continue to develop a plan aligned with Arab interests and Recife&#8217;s characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the ABCC, Lima was welcomed by President William Adib Dib Jr., International Relations Vice President and Secretary-General Mohamad Mourad, Board Member Arthur Jafet, and Institutional Relations Director Fernanda Baltazar.
