S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Club Homs in S\u00e3o Paulo opened the exhibition \u201cSyria \u2013 12,000 BC \u2013 2,000 AD \u2013 Cultures, Civilizations, States, Kingdoms, and Empires\u201d last Thursday (20), organized by the Arab Culture Center of the Syrian Sports Club. Both clubs were founded by Arab immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n

The exhibition features 30 panels depicting 14,000 years of Syria\u2019s history, along with ancient artifacts and replicas of original museum pieces, such as the first alphabet and the first university, among others. It is open to the public for free until April 21, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibition has also been held and viewed by the public at the Syrian Sports Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In alignment with the goals of the Syrian Club, the Arab Culture Center, which organizes the exhibition, conducts a series of activities to promote and disseminate Arab culture, including lectures, Arabic language, writing, and dance classes, and monthly cinema screenings. Over its existence, more than 100 initiatives have been carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
