{"id":384902,"date":"2025-03-26T14:20:47","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T17:20:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=384902"},"modified":"2025-03-26T14:20:50","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T17:20:50","slug":"saudi-arabias-jewelry-spending-grows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/saudi-arabias-jewelry-spending-grows\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Arabia\u2019s jewelry spending grows"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Saudi Arabia\u2019s point-of-sale transactions climbed 6.3% to SAR 14.4 billion (USD 3.8 billion) in the week ending March 22, with jewelry once again leading the growth, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arabnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arab News<\/a> reported on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest figures from the Saudi Central Bank, also known as SAMA, showed that spending in the sector registered the largest increase in the value of transactions at 29.9% to reach SAR 544.4 million (USD 145 million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jewelry also saw a 34.4% surge in terms of the number of transactions, reaching 403,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hotel sector ranked second with a 24.8% surge in transaction value to SAR 440 million (USD 117 million).
