{"id":385226,"date":"2025-04-01T15:51:28","date_gmt":"2025-04-01T18:51:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=385226"},"modified":"2025-04-01T15:51:29","modified_gmt":"2025-04-01T18:51:29","slug":"qatars-ports-see-increase-in-ship-arrivals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/qatars-ports-see-increase-in-ship-arrivals\/","title":{"rendered":"Qatar\u2019s ports see increase in ship arrivals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 <strong>Mwani Qatar<\/strong> announced the arrival of 247 vessels at the country\u2019s ports during March, reflecting a 9% increase compared to February, the Qatari state news agency <a href=\"https:\/\/qna.org.qa\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QNA<\/a> reported based on data released by Mwani, the company responsible for managing the ports in the Arab Gulf country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Referring to the data from <strong>Hamad Port<\/strong>, <strong>Doha Port<\/strong>, and <strong>Ruwais Port<\/strong>, the company reported that they received approximately 99,400 TEUs containers, 70,900 tons of general and bulk cargo, 10,300 vehicles, 97,600 heads of livestock, and 88,100 tons of building materials in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the sectors with growth above the monthly average, the company mentioned there was a 36% increase in <strong>vehicle<\/strong> units from February to March, an 118% rise in <strong>building materials<\/strong> arriving via the country\u2019s ports, and a 32% increase in the number of <strong>livestock<\/strong> disembarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qatar has strong international trade and is an exponential global supplier of gas and fertilizers, while also receiving a range of products from around the world. Its trade volume with Brazil amounts to USD 1.1 billion.
