The information was disclosed this Friday (1st) by the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuel Agency (ANP).<\/p>\n<p> Natural gas extraction averaged at 66.7 million cubic metres per day, a 6.6% increase over April and a 7.4% increase over May of last year. Total hydrocarbon production in Brazil reached 2.491 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, as against 2.445 million in April.<\/p>\n<p> According to the ANP, the figures include the activities of 23 companies operating in 303 concessions, of which 80 are offshore and 223 are onshore.
