The 2025 show will take place next week, from May 12 to 15, at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, and the ABCC will host a pavilion featuring 15 companies.

The organization believes that the Brazilian government’s recent decision—made this past March—to eliminate import tariffs on a list of food products, including olive oil, could lead to a greater volume of contracts between Arab exhibitors dealing in the product and Brazilian retail organizations. Arab countries, particularly some of those participating in the APAS Show, are producers of olive oil.

“We believe that the removal of the import tax will open up new opportunities in the Brazilian market for our exhibitors, especially for companies from Tunisia, which offer premium olive oils—of excellent quality, ranked among the world’s best,” says Estevão Carvalho, Director of New Business at the ABCC, in a statement released by the organization’s press office.

The brands exhibiting with the ABCC will showcase new products across various categories. Egyptian companies Frozen Gate, Mima Foods, Oriental Fruits, Delta Center, and Elswedy will present a range of frozen vegetables and fruits. Another Egyptian company, Dalsa, will exhibit lines of ready-to-fry frozen potatoes.

Tunisian companies Sapphire Trading, Golden Export, and Fadhel Trading will showcase a variety of fresh and processed dates. Joining the delegation as well is TIC Quality Control from the United Arab Emirates, a newcomer to the APAS Show, which will promote its quality control services.

Carvalho highlights that most of the companies are repeating their participation at APAS Show. “Every year, we bring a significant delegation of companies from Arab countries, who view the trade show as a strategic platform to introduce their products to the Brazilian retail market,” he says. The companies will exhibit with the ABCC at booths 331 and 187, respectively located in the White and Blue Pavilions.

APAS Show

This year’s edition of the trade show is expected to surpass the records set in the previous one, which generated over BRL 15 billion in business, according to APAS Show.
