The trip is organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in partnership with the Jordanian and Brazilian governments, as well as the Arab country’s private sector. Participants will take part in B2B rounds with potential Jordanian, Iraqi, and Syrian partners, attend informational events, and go on technical visits to foreign trade facilities.

In a statement released by the ABCC’s communications office, its secretary-general and vice president of international relations, Mohamad Mourad, explained that the initiative aims to expand trade between Brazil and Jordan by providing businesspeople from both countries with an opportunity to engage directly, with the expectation that they may strike trade deals.

“Since its founding in 1952, the ABCC has established itself as a hub for connecting Brazilian companies with those from Arab countries, often successfully using the strategy of organizing business missions to these nations—an approach that frequently generates substantial business volumes, or at the very least, initiates interactions that lead to future trade exchanges,” he says.

Most of the 20 companies registered so far operate in the food and beverage sectors—products that top Brazil’s export list to Jordan. Some of the companies already export to the Arab country and are looking to expand their trade, while others are seeking to make their first sale. In addition, Jordan is working to attract companies from around the world by offering export processing zones connected to its ports and tariff exemptions granted through free trade agreements with countries that together represent millions of consumers.

Last year, Brazilian exports to Jordan grew by 34%, totaling USD 540.32 million. Among the top products sold by Brazil were sugar, chicken meat, iron ore, beef, soybeans, and live cattle. Jordan, in turn, exported USD 110.37 million to Brazil during the same period, mainly consisting of petroleum, fertilizers, polymers, vessels, and sulfur—items traditionally exported by the country.

The mission is supported by the Embassy of Brazil in Jordan, the Embassy of Jordan in Brazil, Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Invest SP, Jordan Chamber of Commerce, and Jordan Investment Commission.

Quick facts

Multisector Business Mission to Jordan
May 30 to June 3, 2025
More information: ri@ccab.org.br
Register here

Translated by Guilherme Miranda

©Philippe Turpin/Photononstop/AFP

Companies from all sectors interested in doing business with Jordanians, Iraqis, and Syrians can register with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce for the trip starting on Friday (30).

[46537
48478,17659,9534,2944,9537,52952,3984
0":"post-389227","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-arab-brazilian-chamber","8":"tag-arab-brazilian-chamber-of-commerce-2","9":"tag-b2b-en","10":"tag-brazil-en","11":"tag-companies","12":"tag-jordan-en","13":"tag-missions","14":"tag-trips
Companies from all sectors interested in doing business with Jordanians, Iraqis, and Syrians can register with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce for the trip starting on Friday (30).
["GET
