Last week, exports reached US$ 5.829 billion, at an average of US$ 1.165 billion per working day, whereas imports reached US$ 4.952 billion, at a daily average of US$ 990.4 million.<\/p>\n<p> From August 1st until the end of the third week, the trade surplus was US$ 2.297 billion, as a result of US$ 17.043 billion in exports (average of US$ 1.136 billion per working day) and US$ 14.746 billion in imports (average of US$ 983.1 million per working day).<\/p>\n<p> From January until the third week of August, the trade surplus reached US$ 18.383 billion, as against US$ 11.460 billion in the same period of 2010. Exports reached US$ 157.598 billion, at an average of US$ 985 million per working day.
