According to data from Brazil\u2019s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services compiled by the Market Intelligence Department of the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ccab.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABCC<\/a>) Brazilian exports to Kuwait reached USD 20.7 million in May, up 13.6% from May 2024. Brazilian imports from Kuwait surged 12,488%, reaching USD 6.9 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among Brazil\u2019s main exports in the month were poultry and beef. Sulfur was the primary product imported from the Arab country during the period. Trade flow in May totaled USD 27.6 million, a 51.4% increase compared to May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Year-to-date trade between the two countries is down compared to 2024, though. Brazil exported USD 105.2 million from January to May, a 5.4% decrease year-on-year. The leading products shipped to the Gulf country were poultry, iron or steel pipes, and beef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kuwait\u2019s sales to Brazil totaled USD 51.2 million, down 85.1% year-on-year. Oil is the leading product Kuwait sold to Brazil this year.
