The events were attended by companies and government representatives, who had the chance to learn more about the Arab world from professionals at the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ccab.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABCC<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday (1), the Brazil-Arab Countries Seminar: Connecting Minas Gerais\u2019 Agrifood Sector to International Opportunities presented the economy and business culture of Arab countries and highlighted the importance of obtaining halal certification to export to Muslim-majority countries. Halal products are those made in accordance with Islamic rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same event, ABCC Internationalization Project Manager Fernanda Dantas and Senior Institutional Relations Analyst Elaine Prates presented the ABCC\u2019s initiatives to promote business between Brazil and Arab countries. ABCC Business Executive Filipe Ferraz held meetings with companies during the seminar days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same program was presented in Uberl\u00e2ndia this Thursday (3), but to an audience from various sectors beyond food and beverages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHere [in Uberl\u00e2ndia], there was great diversity, as it wasn\u2019t just food and beverage companies\u2014we also had participation from other sectors,\u201d said Dantas. In both Belo Horizonte and Uberl\u00e2ndia, companies that already export to the Arab world shared their experiences selling to the region.
