The company works mainly with food and beverages.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe Arab countries will be among the great markets for coming years,\u201d said Andr\u00e9 Ruiz, executive director at Tradex. \u201cIt is a buyer market and has become important worldwide. We want to enter the region with great strength,\u201d he pointed out.<\/p>\n<p> He said that prospection has already taken place in the Emirates and samples have been sent to potential clients. \u201cWe have been trading machined parts, connectors for TVs and cameras, and also foods, like assai, ice cream and banana and guava sweets,\u201d he explained. Some of the contacts with Arab businessmen, said Ruiz, were obtained at the <b>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/b>, others were made directly by the company.<\/p>\n<p> The director at Tradex also revealed that, in June, he met a businessman from Bayat Group, in the Emirates, with whom he spoke about access to buyers in the Arab country. Apart from the Emirates, Ruiz explains that he aims to take the products he works with to other countries in the region, like Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar. \u201cThey are countries that have large economies and strong demand,\u201d said the executive. Tradex also operates in the markets in Eastern Europe, Mexico, Argentina and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p> Betting on the food sector, Tradex should participate in the Gulfood, the largest food sector fair, in Dubai, in 2012. \u201cWe believe in the potential of Brazilian food.
