Now, restrictions remain in place only in two countries in the region, Saudi Arabia and Oman, but only on product from the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) was detected. The outbreak has already been addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information was made public by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock late last Wednesday (6), along with the announcement that South Korea and Angola have also lifted temporary restrictions. Japan has cleared imports of product from the municipality of Montenegro, Brazil, but not from two nearby cities.
