These will be the country\u2019s first elections since dictator Hosni Mubarak was ousted, in February. The information was disclosed by the English website of the Egyptian newspaper <i>Al Ahram<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p> According to the publication, on the 28 the elections will be held in nine regions, or governorates. On December 14, another 14 districts will cast ballots. The third part of the election will take place on January 3, in nine other governorates.<\/p>\n<p> Elections for the Shura, which is the Parliament\u2019s higher chamber, will take place on January 29, according to the newspaper.
