According to data from the Brazil\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/mdic\/pt-br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Development and Trade Ministry<\/a>, compiled by the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ccab.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABCC<\/a>), exports totaled USD 421.9 million through July. On the other hand, Brazil\u2019s imports of Libyan products reached USD 793,000 in the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iron ore was Brazil\u2019s top export to Libya through July, totaling USD 146.8 million, a 10% decrease compared to January\u2013July 2024. The second-largest export, poultry meat, fell 5.5%, totaling USD 103.7 million. Exports of beef increased by 74.9%, reaching USD 76 million. Sugar, the fourth-largest export to Libya, rose 15.1% in sales to the country, totaling USD 68.8 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the opposite direction, Brazil imported mainly aluminum scrap from Libya, a product that the Brazilian market had not purchased from the North African country until July of last year.
