S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Ellos Platform of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC<\/a>) will start publishing news from the Arab-Brazilian News Agency (ANBA) on Monday (1), providing content for its users. The platform was created by the ABCC to digitalize trade between Brazil and Arab countries and features a module called Easy Trade, through which the issuance of certificates of origin and document certification for exports are carried out electronically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform\u2019s homepage\u2014now with the news\u2014will no longer be just a gateway to Easy Trade, gaining a new look and more interactivity. \u201cWe\u2019ll use the Ellos Platform\u2019s homepage to show users information that can make their lives easier\u2014updated news about Brazil and the Arab world in economic, social, and cultural spheres, directly related to the trade balance between the countries,\u201d says Helena Leite, Product Owner of the ABCC\u2019s Technology and Innovation Department. \u201cWe saw this as an opportunity since the platform already has traffic from exporters,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANBA is a news agency that covers Brazil\u2019s relations with the Arab world, including diplomatic affairs between the countries, commercial actions between the two regions, international trade developments, stories about Brazilian and Arab companies, as well as cultural and migratory connections between the nations. One of ANBA\u2019s key focuses is publishing news that can generate business, highlighting opportunities specifically for importers and exporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2003, ANBA receives around 50,000 pageviews per month and publishes content in Portuguese, English, and Arabic. Its journalism team has traveled for coverage in 19 Arab countries and has won 11 journalism awards. In 2020, ANBA launched a podcast, ANBA Cast, primarily focused on providing market insights, information, and useful discussions for exporters. About one-third of ANBA\u2019s traffic comes from abroad, where the site has content-sharing agreements with Arab news agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ellos Platform, where the agency\u2019s news will now be featured, currently has Easy Trade as its main tool, which is already in use for exports from Brazil to Jordan. This module uses blockchain technology to ensure security, traceability, transparency, and scalability. Through it, the export process to this Arab country can be carried out digitally, reducing time and costs and ensuring that the necessary documents are already available at the destination when the goods arrive at the port. Negotiations are underway to extend this digitalization to Brazil\u2019s trade with Egypt and Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like ANBA\u2019s news, starting on Monday the platform will also feature advertising spaces with information about the ABCC, so that companies can learn about the activities promoted by the institution and participate. A link to the ABCC\u2019s website, which lists all the services offered by the organization, will also be provided, along with guidance on the features and advantages of the Ellos Platform itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access the platform, users need to log in through a registration process. Starting on Monday, not only companies\u2014using their National Registry of Legal Entities (CNPJ)\u2014but also individuals will be able to register. Once on the platform, if a user wishes to carry out an export to Jordan, they can follow the necessary steps to complete the process. If that is not their interest, they can simply access other links and content, such as ANBA\u2019s news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
