With the theme <em>\u201c<\/em>Assessing Productive Inclusion in Practice: Connecting Youth, The Market, and Opportunities<em>\u201d<\/em>, the event was held at the headquarters of the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ccab.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABCC<\/a>) in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Executive Manager of Instituto Cury, Luciana Kamimura gave a lecture on the size, challenges, and strategies of the third sector, which employs 4.7 million people and moves over BRL 200 billion (USD 37 billion) per year in Brazil. In 2019, the institution began measuring some indicators, an initiative that has evolved year by year. \u201cEvaluation starts long before the results are delivered. It begins in the planning stage,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To quantify the institution\u2019s actions, Lar S\u00edrio relies on a partnership with the company H2R. Education is the main axis to achieving this. Work is the other,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership with Lar S\u00edrio is still in its early stages and will be implemented in phases. It plans to monitor the development of children and young people supported by Lar S\u00edrio until their entry into the job market and translate this process into numbers. Frisso told ANBA that, based on metrics and statistical data, it will be possible to improve the methods and support offered to around 1,000 children and adolescents assisted by the institution in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop was opened by the president of the ABCC, William Adib Dib Jr., who noted that the two institutions share a long history. Lar S\u00edrio was founded 102 years ago by Arab immigrants, some of whom were ancestors of Dib himself and of Arab-origin entrepreneurs. Dib serves as legal director at Lar S\u00edrio.
