Year-to-date as of September, sales grew by 7.2%, according to figures disclosed this Thursday (6) by the National Association of Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea).<\/p>\n<p> There was also a decline in export revenues, which had been increasing since the start of the year. Export revenues stood at US$ 1.3 million, as against US$ 1.4 million in August, representing a 3.7% decrease.<\/p>\n<p> The sales slowdown caused production to drop by 19.7%. In September, 261,184 vehicles were manufactured, as against 325,326 in August.
