Shipments totalled 875,500 bags, each weighing 60 kilograms, reduction of 2% in the same comparison, according to figures disclosed by the Brazilian Coffee Exporter Council (Cecaf\u00e9).<\/p>\n<p> In total, foreign sales of the product reached US$ 6.125 billion in nine months in 2011, growth of 66% over the period from January to September 2010.<\/p>\n<p> Last month alone, revenues with shipments reached US$ 805 million, growth of 39% over September 2010. Trade reached 2,862,209 bags, a reduction of 12.7%.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cExports this year are still performing very well,\u201d said the Cecaf\u00e9 director general, Guilherme Braga, according to a press statement by the organisations.<\/p>\n<p> The main destinations for the product were Europe, North America, Asia and South America.
