{"id":395563,"date":"2025-09-19T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T17:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=395563"},"modified":"2025-09-19T13:11:26","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T16:11:26","slug":"baghdad-to-get-fifth-ring-road-amid-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/baghdad-to-get-fifth-ring-road-amid-expansion\/","title":{"rendered":"Baghdad to get fifth ring road amid expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The expansion of Iraq\u2019s capital Baghdad has been driving the need for increased urban infrastructure, which prompted the government to plan the establishment of the city\u2019s fifth ring road, the Iraqi state news agency <a href=\"https:\/\/ina.iq\/en\/local\/42477-reconstruction-ministry-unveils-plan-for-fifth-ring-road-in-baghdad.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INA<\/a> said on Friday (19).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement was made by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities through the ministry\u2019s spokesperson, Nabil Al-Saffar. \u201cThere is a plan to construct the fifth ring road, which will have a larger diameter than the previous ring roads, in order to accommodate the significant urban expansion in Baghdad,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fourth ring road is currently under construction in the Iraqi capital.
