The announcement came alongside news of other market openings for Brazilian products in India, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the joint statement, the ministries described Egypt as a \u201crelevant partner of Brazil in meat products,\u201d noting that the Arab country has increased its purchases of Brazilian poultry \u201cdue to its recognition of halal certification and the reliability of supply.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data from Brazil\u2019s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services compiled by the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/ccab.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABCC<\/a>), Brazil exported USD 3.9 billion to Egypt last year, up 71.9% from 2023. Imports totaled USD 940.5 million, an increase of 92.4% over the same period.
