Compared to September last year, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.4%, driven by a 0.5% rise in food prices and a 0.4% increase in non-food products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, the main price increases last month were recorded among food items, which contributed to the slight overall rise in the inflation index. In September, vegetables became, on average, 2.6% more expensive. Fruit prices rose by 0.5%, meat increased by 0.4%, and bread, milk, cheese, eggs, and coffee remained practically stable, with a rise of 0.1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main price decline in September was observed in non-food items. Among fuels, prices fell by 2.2%, the largest cost decrease recorded by the CPI.
