S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The final lecture on the second day of the 2025 Global Halal Brazil Business Forum, presented by Luc Vian, Market Intelligence Manager at the Brazilian beef industry group ABIEC, shared positive data on Brazil\u2019s halal beef exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the research I brought to you, I would like to highlight the value of halal exports in 2024. Compared to 2023, there was a 65% jump\u2014that is, over 500,000 additional metric tons of Brazilian halal beef were exported. If we look at the last chart, the 2025 volume, even with only nine months of data, is already higher than that recorded in 2023. We have great confidence in this market for the long term,\u201d said Luc Vian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the presentation, the ABIEC executive presented two copies of the Brazilian Beef Cuts<\/em> Book <\/em>to Mohamad Abdouni Neto, Treasurer of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce <\/strong>(ABCC<\/a>), and Mohamed Hussein El Zoghbi, President of FAMBRAS Halal Certifier. The ABIEC publication covers the history of halal certification in Brazil and provides insights into the national halal market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The forum is organized by the ABCC and FAMBRAS Halal Certifier.
