Organized by the <strong>Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/ccab.org.br\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABCC<\/a>), it will include six food and beverage companies, along with institutional leaders, in a schedule featuring technical visits, a seminar, and a business roundtable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday (3), the Brazilian delegation will attend the \u201cSynergies and Opportunities between Brazil and Algeria Seminar\u201d at the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Algiers, the country\u2019s capital. The meeting will present the characteristics and demands of the local market, as well as the opportunities it offers. After the seminar, Brazilian companies will take part in business meetings with potential Algerian clients. The schedule continues on Thursday (4) with technical visits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The companies confirmed for the mission include customs law firm Manuel &amp; Vitta, consulting firm Prime Company, and trading companies BRA Commodities, Timbro, Aurea, and APS Agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ABCC\u2019s Director of Institutional Relations, Fernanda Baltazar, says the trip is an opportunity to access the Algerian market and better understand the demands of local importers. \u201cAlgeria is opening up, and it\u2019s a historic partner of Brazil with a latent demand for Brazilian products. They\u2019ve shown interest in getting closer to our market,\u201d she said. The ABCC\u2019s president, William Adib Dib Jr., will also take part in the mission and the meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data from Brazil\u2019s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services compiled by the ABCC, Brazil exported USD 2.5 billion to Algeria in 2024, an increase of 8% compared to the previous year. Sugar, corn, soybeans, and iron ore were the leading products shipped. Over the same period, Brazil imported USD 1.4 billion from Algeria, down 23.3% from the previous year.
