Tourism generated a record USD 2.68 billion in revenue for the country, according to data from early 2025 through December 22 released by the Tunisian Central Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surpassing 11 million tourists, the country exceeded the targets set by the Ministry of Tourism. Revenue rose by 6.3% compared with the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, Tunisia welcomed 10.26 million international tourists, generating about USD 2.55 billion in revenue. By December 22, there had already been an increase in both tourist arrivals and sector revenue with this level of activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Central Bank, demand from neighboring countries for Tunisia as a tourist destination played a central role in the country\u2019s 2025 performance.
