Residential rental costs and administered prices\u2014such as water, electricity, and gas supply\u2014were the items with the largest price increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to GASTAT, the rise in rental prices and basic services had a \u201csignificant impact on the increase in annual inflation.\u201d Data from the authority show that rental costs rose by an average of 8.2% in 2025, while water, electricity, and gas costs increased by 6.1% compared to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Food and beverages recorded inflation of 1.1% and transport costs rose 0.4%, while prices of household goods and furniture fell 0.8% on an annual basis.
