Brazil is represented by \u201cThe Secret Agent,\u201d a feature film by Kleber Mendon\u00e7a Filho, which is also competing for awards in the categories of Best Picture, Best Actor with Wagner Moura, and Casting Direction, making its debut at this year\u2019s ceremony. The awards will be held on March 15 in Los Angeles, United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Written and directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, \u201cThe Voice of Hind Rajab\u201d is set in Gaza and portrays the story of a six-year-old girl who died while trying to flee Israeli attacks on the Palestinian territory with her family. \u201cThe Secret Agent\u201d tells the story of Marcelo, a teacher who leaves S\u00e3o Paulo for Recife to escape his past and reunite with his son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Brazilian film already won a Golden Globe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Secret Agent\u201d won two Golden Globes in January: Best Actor in a Drama Film, for Wagner Moura, and Best Non-English-Language Film. Competing alongside the Brazilian and Tunisian productions are \u201cIt Was Just an Accident\u201d (France), \u201cSentimental Value\u201d (Norway), and \u201cSir\u00e2t\u201d (Spain).
