Selling within the country and abroad. Interested in investing, the entrepreneur opened her own business, Di\u00e1fana Lingerie, in Goi\u00e2nia, in the state of Goi\u00e1s, in 1996. Germany was the number one destination. \u201cWe soon found a distributor in Russia and another in Australia,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p> According to Odal\u00e9ia, the strengthening of the closest markets, like Argentina, Bolivia and Venezuela, was very useful due to the oscillation in the dollar to real exchange rate in recent months. \u201cThis helped supply the lower demand in other countries,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p> The focus on the international scenery was so strong at Di\u00e1fana that the brand first sold beach fashion abroad. \u201cWe made a test and the sector gained strength abroad,\u201d recalls Odal\u00e9ia. \u201cWe then started selling domestically too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> The businesswoman explains that the good acceptance of its products on the foreign market is connected to some important care, like the offer of specific modelling for each country. \u201cAustralia prefers one style of lingerie, the United States, another, and so forth,\u201d she said. \u201cWe adapt our garments to the taste of each buyer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <!--%IMGNOT2%-->Among the praise she receives from foreigners, Odal\u00e9ia points out the modelling. And attention to details like tulle netting and lace, mainly in the lingerie lines. And the entrepreneur hopes to be recognised for such by Arab clients in future. \u201cWe do not yet export to these countries, but we are interested,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p> Di\u00e1fana is managed by Odal\u00e9ia and her husband, Ersil Bueno J\u00fanior. She is responsible for design and marketing of the business. He takes care of the financial side.
