Between January and March, 33.5 million travelers were transported in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey shows stronger growth in international flights: in the first three months of the year, 8.3 million passengers were carried, up 13% compared to the same period in 2025. Domestic traffic reached 25.2 million passengers, a 6% increase in the period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the statement, Ports and Airports Minister Tom\u00e9 Franca said the figures reflect growth in the sector and the Brazilian economy but noted that the performance should be viewed with caution due to the Middle East conflict, which is pushing up jet fuel prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe know there is a cyclical and global crisis affecting jet fuel prices, and this may impact air passenger traffic over the course of the year.
