They will be responsible for evaluation of requests for asylum in the country, granting support to decisions by the Conare, which is connected to the Ministry of Justice.<\/p>\n<p> &quot;It is a moment of shared coexistence between those in charge of reaffirming the human dignity of these foreigners,\u201d said the general coordinator at the Conare, Renato Zerbini. This year the Brazilian law for refugees celebrates its 15 anniversary.<\/p>\n<p> Brazil has around 4,500 refugees of over 70 different nationalities. Most are of African origin, 63.77%, from the Americas (23.18%) and Asia (10.76%).
