Addressing an audience that also included Tunisian company representatives, he spoke about the strong Arab presence in S\u00e3o Paulo and how it helped transform the city into a commercial hub. Ferreira mentioned the 12 million Arabs and descendants living in Brazil and their concentration in the country\u2019s Southeast region, where S\u00e3o Paulo is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTunisia holds a strategic position in North Africa and the Mediterranean, connecting markets, cultures and economic opportunities. According to the ABCC\u2019s president, the presence of Tunisian products has been growing in Brazil. \u201cBrazilian consumers are becoming increasingly familiar not only with the quality of these products, but also with the tradition, authenticity and excellence they carry,\u201d the president said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also present at the event among the ABCC officials were Vice President of International Relations &amp; Secretary-General Mohamad Orra Mourad, Vice President of Marketing Silvia Antibas, Treasurer Director Mohamad Abdouni Neto\u2014who is also Jordan\u2019s honorary consul in S\u00e3o Paulo\u2014former president Rubens Hannun\u2014also Tunisia\u2019s honorary consul in S\u00e3o Paulo\u2014and board members Alessandra Frisso and William Atui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other authorities present included Kaissar Khadhraoui, charg\u00e9 d\u2019affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in Brazil; Cepex director Hela Ammar; Qatar\u2019s consul-general in S\u00e3o Paulo, Almuhannad Ali Al-Hammadi; and Hassan Al-Saadani, head of Tunisia\u2019s Trade and Consular Office in S\u00e3o Paulo.
