The in-person classes will take place on June 9, 10, 16, and 17, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each day. More information is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sescsp.org.br\/programacao\/cultura-e-arte-no-mundo-arabe-modulo-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Icarabe, the course proposes reflections on contemporary Arab culture, its identities, and its place in modernity, while considering the dilemmas and challenges it faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first class of the module, \u201cArab Immigration in Brazil and Orientalist Imaginaries,\u201d will be presented by Christina Queiroz, professor of the Edward Said Chair and Icarabe\u2019s Communications Director.
