One of the approved initiatives was submitted by Morocco&#8217;s OCP, one of the world&#8217;s largest producers of crop fertilizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The portfolio now includes six projects from companies such as Mosaic, Fospar, and OCP. Five phosphate fertilizer projects are planned for industrial complexes in Barcarena, Par\u00e1 state; Cajati and Tapira, S\u00e3o Paulo; Uberaba, Minas Gerais; and Paranagu\u00e1, Paran\u00e1. A Petrobras phosphate fertilizer production hub in Tr\u00eas Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, was also added to the construction portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry representatives have urged the government to increase fertilizer availability in Brazil, one of the world&#8217;s largest grain producers and the leading exporter of soybeans. The country relies heavily on imported fertilizers to sustain its agricultural production.
