We therefore also want to enter the market with Brazilian brands,\u201d explained Mohammad AlRezzoug, owner of the Arab company.<\/p>\n<p> Currently, Biofood buys mainly from countries in Europe, like Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Isac Andrade, from trading company Brasfood, which brought the Algerians to the country, explains that they are starting to import from Brazil. They have already bought a container of products from Bauducco and approved the shipment of a second container for the brand. <\/p>\n<p> &quot;Today, Brazil, in the economic setting, has a very good reputation in Algeria. In the past, it was a developing country and is now larger (economically). That is what motivated us to come here, and enter this market,\u201d explained AlRezzoug.<\/p>\n<p> Fellouh Mohammad, the director at Biofood, says that they liked the Apas fair and plan to return to other editions of the event. &quot;It is a great fair, with many interesting producers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p> According to Andrade, imports of Brazilian products by the Algerian distributor totalled around US$ 100,000, from Europe, however, the company buys between US$ 700,000 and US$ 1 million a month.<\/p>\n<p> The agenda of the Algerians for this Thursday, apart from Apas, also included a visit to company JBS-Friboi. On Friday (11), they are going to Minas Gerais, to visit the Bauducco factory.
