Held at Expo Center Norte, the Summit is featuring 100 speakers covering topics including technology, artificial intelligence, science, healthcare, education, art, culture, justice, safety, infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and sports, while constantly focusing on broadening female participation in multiple fronts.

Claudia attended panels on Artificial Intelligence (IA), as the world discusses how this technology will impact professions. “In medicine, AI will be able to review test results much more accurately. It will be able to diagnose cancer five years before symptoms appear. The chance of cure is much higher,” she says, based on information from the Summit. “But AI only works when corporate data is well structured,” she adds, noting that not everyone should be replaced by AI.

The Summit is primarily meant to discuss the future of labor, of leadership, and of Brazil’s economy, and 10,000 participants are expected on August 4 and 5. During the event, Luiza Trajano discussed the advances made thus far in female participation in society, while emphasizing the goal of driving that even further until women have filled 50% of leadership roles. She said the Summit is a great movement to achieve that goal in Brazil in a four-year timespan.

Claudia Haddad Yazigi and Sabin Group CEO Lídia Abdalla

WAHI is partners with the Women from Brazil Group, and it works within the scope of the Arab Chamber to connect businesswomen from Brazil and the Arab countries.
