Projects may be submitted until September 13, 2026, under the foundation’s program, which is affiliated with Brazil’s Ministry of Culture and aims to promote the country’s literary heritage.

To qualify for financial support from the FBN, a work must have been previously published in Brazil. Publishers must submit proposals along with the required documentation for the first stage of the selection process.
