The intention is to have all-weather roads that enable productive agricultural areas to have access to local markets. Thus, job opportunities and the livelihood of the rural population will be increased. <\/p>\n<p> According to a World Bank survey, South Sudan has a road network of 17,000 kilometres, of which only 4,000 are all-weather roads. \u201cThe project will thus help to support the country\u2019s attempts to develop its agricultural potential to improve the livelihood of the rural population.
