The Gulf country\u2019s total GDP reached QAR 736.6 billion, equivalent to USD 202 billion. Of the total, 34.7% came from the oil sector and 65.3% from the non-oil sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the monetary authority, the non-oil sector was the main driver of growth, expanding 4.8% in 2025 from the previous year, while the oil and petroleum products sector contracted 0.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, the Qatar Central Bank said growth continues to be driven by the non-oil sector, which has remained resilient and reflects the country\u2019s progress in economic diversification. The private sector continued to expand, as did tourism: 5.1 million people visited Qatar last year, up from 4.9 million in 2024 and 4 million in 2023. The sectors that contributed most to growth were construction, trade, finance and insurance, manufacturing, and transport and logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its statement, the Qatar Central Bank said that despite rising instability in the Middle East this year, the country\u2019s GDP is expected to grow 6.1% in 2026.
