The ruling will enter into force this Wednesday (30th), according to the African news agency <i>Panapress<\/i>. The measure was announced by the LCB governor Seddigh Al-Kebir. <\/p>\n<p> He also said the new Libyan currency has been completed, and will be available within the next six months. Al-Kebir also announced that the LCB has established a committee to track Libyan assets that were transferred overseas during the old regime. According to Al-Kebir, the bank has begun working in tandem with the World Bank to that end.<\/p>\n<p> Libya was shaken by popular protests that led to the ousting of the then-dictator Muammar Gaddafi last year.
