The figure is in the Monthly Industrial Study, disclosed on Thursday (31) by the Brazilian Institute for Geography and Statistics (IBGE). <\/p>\n<p> This is the second consecutive negative result in the monthly comparison. In March, there was a 0.5% reduction. With regard to April last year, there was a reduction of 2.9%. <\/p>\n<p> In the year, industry accumulates a reduction of 2.8% in production.
