Of that amount, 10 billion reals (US$ 4.8 billion) concern credit operations carried out in 2011, and 3 billion reals (US$ 1,4 billion) concern operations carried out from January to July 2012.<\/p>\n<p> The target for this year is for loans to the oil, gas and naval industries to reach 20 billion reals (US$ 9.7 billion). \u201cWe realize that there is a market for even more than that,\u201d said the acting superintendent for Oil, Gas and the Naval Industry at the Savings Bank, Antonio Gil Padilha Bernardes Silveira, while attending the Fair and Conference of the Naval and Offshore Industry (Navalshore), in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n<p> There is no ceiling to the granting of loans to the industry, he guaranteed. \u201cThe Savings Bank has no funding issues.
